La Société Protectrice des Animaux (SPA) lance une campagne de sensibilisation imaginée par WNP pour lutter contre l’abandon qui chaque année explose pendant l’été. Pour révèler la dure réalité des conséquences physiques et psychologiques sur un animal abandonné, le court métrage « Le survivant » (décliné en 30s en TV) réalisé par Ben Lacour (Birth) joue la fausse piste. On y découvre le témoignage d’un survivant qui malgré le bonheur retrouvé reste traumatisé par ce qui lui est arrivé. Focalisant sur le maître du chien, le film évoque les épreuves vécues à coups de flashbacks. Le montage fiévreux traduit la violence subie, l’errance et l’angoisse pour survivre à tous les dangers. Tout montre un syndrome de stress post-traumatique, alors qu’il s’agit en fait du chien et d’un syndrome post-abandon. Un film puissant et prenant qui souligne l’importance de l’intervention des bénévoles, à soutenir avec nos dons.

The latest awareness campaign of SPA with a new film imagined by the agency WNP and directed by Ben Lacour.
To reveal the harsh reality of the physical and psychological consequences of this cruel act of abandonment opted for the short film format.
This short film and its 30s version will be broadcast on the web and on TV throughout the summer.
In this "Family made" project, Ben Lacour, surrounded by his children, his dog and his relatives knew perfectly how to stage all the ordeals that abandoned animals go through: anguish, survival, wandering, the violence of wildlife and the dangers of the road.
